New technologies are changing and shaping the future of the financial services sector. Banks and finctech companies has chatbots on top of mind when looking to reinvent the customer experience, whilst also cutting down costs. Chatbots has been predicted as one of the major trends for 2017, because of its ability to interact with customers immediately and in a convenient way. Implementing chatbots to cut cost and improve customer service all sounds great – but how far are we?
At Get F’IT on May 30th we will explore how chatbots will shake up the status quo and explore which opportunities they provide. The technology is constantly developing and have not yet fulfilled its full potential. However, with an increased maturity in technology and a better understanding of chatbots it is possible for an increasing number of companies to utilize the benefits. One example has been seen in the case of Lemonade (an insurtech company) that has utilized chatbots to pay its insurance claim in 3 seconds.
